Candice and Mike’s Lake Geneva Wedding

Your wedding day is full of surprises and everyone’s really is. The hardest thing is when things how ever don’t go to plans… like it start to rain! But I am not novice when it comes to rainy day weddings and although I would much rather love a beautiful spring day sometimes that just does not happen and the best thing to do is roll with it, because your wedding is a once and a life time experience and it is going to be beautiful.

We started off with getting ready photos for both Candice and Mike as we waited for the passing storm to clear.

They were not the only 2 getting ready tho! This little guy has to be one of the cutest kids I have ever seen

Eventually the rain cleared up just enough for us to get out and do a quick first look before we jumped directly into the outdoor reception.

The Storms started to roll in so many of the guests headed inside for cocktail hour as we tried to make a quick run for the lake for a few more photos while the sun was still peaking out from the clouds.

We made it inside as the rain started to come down and dinner was severed. We had survived the day dodging mother nature, but it its good to remember rain is good luck on your wedding day! Now there was only one last thing to do! DANCE!
